NEC Smart Cities

NEC Smart Cities was created to assist citizens, councils, and governments in making well-informed decisions by offering a comprehensive perspective of their social, built, and natural environments. As the Head of Design, my responsibility was to prioritise design to enable products that would help communities flourish. Infusing modern design principles throughout the organisation was crucial.

I was responsible for three key areas:

• Ensuring that our products delivered world-class experiences
• Development of a new brand to encapsulate and promote NEC’s Smart Cities products and services
• Develop design principles, strategies and processes that enabled the team to deliver world-class results consistently
